Model and Variants

The Xiaomi SU7 is a full-size electric sedan. It was initially unveiled in December 2023, with the official launch and start of orders in March 2024. Xiaomi has also revealed a second vehicle, the YU7 SUV, which is expected to launch later in 2025.

The SU7 is available in several versions, including

SU7 (Standard): This is the base model, with a single motor and rear-wheel drive.

SU7 Pro: Features the same powertrain as the base model but with a larger battery.

SU7 Max: An all-wheel-drive (AWD) version with dual motors.

SU7 Ultra: A high-performance model with a tri-motor configuration, focusing on speed and track performance.

Performance and Battery

SU7 (Standard): Has a 73.6 kWh battery with a range of up to 700 km (CLTC standard). It produces 299 hp and can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.28 seconds.

SU7 Max: Equipped with a 101 kWh battery, offering a range of up to 800 km (CLTC standard). It has a combined power output of 673 hp and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.78 seconds.

SU7 Ultra: The most powerful version, with a staggering 1548 hp, allowing it to go from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 1.98 seconds. It also has a top speed of 350 km/h.

Technology and Features

As a company known for its consumer electronics, Xiaomi has heavily integrated its technology into the SU7.

Operating System: The car is powered by Xiaomi's HyperOS, which allows for deep integration with the wider Xiaomi ecosystem of smart home devices. You can control your car from your smart home and vice versa.

Infotainment: The interior features a large 16.1-inch touchscreen, a 7-inch digital driver's display, and a head-up display.

Connectivity: The car offers seamless phone mirroring, fast wireless charging, and a 25-speaker sound system with Dolby Atmos. Some models also come with a smart fridge in the center console.

Safety: The SU7 is equipped with an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) that uses LiDAR, radar, and multiple cameras for features like automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control.
